How to care
Light: In cool to warm areas, they will thrive in full sun, but in very hot, dry, or tropical regions, bay trees will appreciate some shade during the hottest part of the day.
Water: Water moderately. Watering is especially important in hot and dry summer regions.
Soil: Bay trees will grow in soils, ranging from very acidic to slightly alkaline. They prefer a fertile, well-drained soil but will adapt to most garden soils with good drainage.
