The String of turtles is small in size and has a slow growth rate, reaching full maturity in three to five years. If you have limited space this String is a perfect choice. The plant’s attractive leaf shape also makes it a favorite to use in terrariums.

How to care
Light: Bright light with some direct sun will do your String of turtles good.
Water: The string of turtles does not tolerate soggy soil. Water thoroughly, then allow to dry out slightly between waterings. It is better to err on the side of underwatering than to overwater. you can cut back on watering in winter, without allowing the soil to dry out completely.
Humidity: Average to dry room humidity will do the trick.
Soil: Cactus potting mix will work for this plant.
Fertilizer: Feed once a month spring through autumn with a balanced liquid fertilizer ( Nitrosol) diluted by half.
