How to care
Light: Medium to high light (bright east or south window). Dieffenbachia is very sensitive to low light.
Temperature: Dieffenbachia like humidity the warmer it is, the happier they are.
Soil: Plant Dieffenbachia in houseplant soil or DIY two parts peat moss and 1 part perlite.
Water: Keep the soil moist, can tolerate some soil drying. best to water once the soil begins to dry out. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
Fertilizer: Apply a liquid fertilizer (Nitrosol) at 1/2 strength every 2 weeks in spring to summer. in the winter months only fertilize once a month.
